Over the Inventorthon weekend, H2Go was born. Yep, some citizen inventors mixed in with rocket engineer Nadeem from Pocket Spacecraft and Alex from Space Gambit had great fun with having a go at building steam altitude control for cubesat! We've disassembled pens, kettle, soldering iron etc - for inspiration...
Over 36 hours or so, we've rapidly prototyped to Mark 8 (we had 7b - minor versions too!) and we got steam at the end of it - oh yea! (and lots of melted parts)
What next? Stay tuned! Are you doing anything similar? Any experience with similar technologies? Do you know things about resistojets?
Since this is a by community, for community group, we would be very interested to hear from you. If you have a project that you'd like to showcase or look for participation, share it!
Do you have an environment monitoring app/device/project? Submit, show and inspire fellow citizen inventors!
Space Technology, Science and Apps
Starting to make a satellite with open hardware? Space Apps? Submit, show and inspire fellow citizen inventors!
Brain Computer Interface and Robotics
Experimented with brain waves? Made some robots? Submit, show and inspire fellow citizen inventors!
Did we miss some really cool scientific invention? Tell us anyways!
